What is Aziccul?
AZICCUL is a financial Co-operative Credit Union owned and managed by its members. It was first registered in 1968 and re-registered in 2001 and 2013 in compliance with OHADA regulations as a micro-finance institution affiliated to RECCU-CAM.
AziCCul loans money to its members at low rates of interest. It also provides to its members other financial services.
What is Aziccul's Mission?
To achieve regular savings and wise borrowing amongst members at low interest rates.
To provide a broad range of products and services in a sustainable and profitable manner.
To provide general membership education, training of Board, Committees and Staff.
To practice the value of equity, equality and social concern for the community.
How Can YOU Become a Member?
Membership with AZICCUL is open and voluntary to all who fulfill the conditions of becoming a member.
Individuals:
- Present yourself in person to any of our branch offices in Bamenda, Douala, Yaounde, Kumba, Bafoussam and Buea.
- Be a holder of a current National Identity Card or Passport.
- Have two passport-sized photos (4x4).
- Have a proper street address.
- Pay registration fee of 2,000 francs.
Meeting Groups, Cultural Associations, Schools, NGOs, Churches and Other Associations:
An application for membership from the above bodies should also include the precise name of the group/association, the account with their designated signatories, specify the number of shares subscribed to and deposit the membership fees.
- An extract of the minutes during which decision was taken for an account to be opened with the Credit Union.
- A registration certificate from a competent authority.
- A copy of bylaws of their Association.
- A copy of National Identity Card of signatories.
- One passport-size photo of each signatory.
- Initial deposit of 30,000 francs CFA.

- Being in safe financial institution where to save.
- Opportunity to withdraw money whenever need arises without fear of losing it.
- Enjoy low rate of interest at good conditions of loans.
- Free insurance coverage on amounts saved (free on loans taken).
- Maximum insurance value is 1,000,000 Francs CFA for Savings and 2,500,000 Francs CFA for death.
- Facility to open sub accounts for specific purpose.
- And to withdraw the amounts saved as programmed.

- Salary payments to Civil Servants and workers of the private sector institutions.
